Admissions and Enrollment

Our admission procedure and guidelines were developed to assist us in placing students in classes in the event of over enrollment.

Admissions Procedure

  • Contact the school office (248-651-9474) and obtain information about the programs offered by Living Word Lutheran School.
  • Arrange for an interview with the principal, and tour the school.
  • Return the completed student application form with the $200 registration fee to the school office.
  • Complete a Request for Student Records Form which allows your current school to forward your child’s transcripts, including grades and standardized test results, to Living Word Lutheran School.
  • The following forms will need to be turned in to the school office BEFORE your child begins school:

Emergency Contact Form
Field Trip Driver Information Form
Health Appraisal (Preschool and New Students)
Medical Treatment Consent Form (If participating in Sports)
Sports Physical (If participating in Sports)
Athletic Contract (If participating in Sports)
Reenrollment Form (Students Currently in our Program)
Application Form (New Students)

 

 


An applicant’s file will be completed and ready for review when all of the above steps are accomplished. A decision regarding admission will be made as soon as possible following review of the file. Upon acceptance, a School Family Contract will be sent to the family. The return of the signed School Family Contract will reserve a place for the new student.
