3 year old Program

The 3 year old classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children who will be 3 years old by December 1. The first class runs from 9:00 - 11:30 AM, and the second runs from 12:45 - 3:15 PM. These classes will center on small and large motor skills, sensory experiences (art, music, science) and socialization skills. These classes will have more play time than the other classes. Each class is limited to 18 children with 3 teachers. The children MUST be toilet trained. This program runs September through May.

4 year old Program

The 4 year old classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for children who will be 4 years old by December 1. The first class runs from 9:00 - 11:30 AM, and the second runs from 12:45 - 3:15 PM. These classes will have a strong play base and will include letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Each class is limited to 20 children with 3 teachers. The children MUST be toilet trained. This program runs September through May.

Young 5 Program

The Young 5 class is for children who need another year of development before Kindergarten and will meet Monday through Friday in the afternoon, from 12:45 - 3:15 PM. Children need to be 5 years old by December 1. This class is to help prepare children for kindergarten the following year. It will concentrate on the letters of the alphabet and beginning reading and writing concepts. It will encourage cognitive, social and language development as well as introduce math and science lessons. This class is limited to a total of 18 students with 2 teachers. This program follows the Rochester School Schedule from August to June.

Childcare Program

The Childcare class is a program for 3, 4 and young 5 year olds that will operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This program will be structured as a traditional preschool class in the morning, followed by lunch, quiet time, and then a creative (art or music) portion that will tie in with the morning program. This class is limited to a total of 15 students with 2 teachers. This program follows the Rochester School Schedule from August to June.

Extended Care Program

The Childcare Classroom will be available at an additional fee of $4 per hour, for early arrivals and late departures, arriving no earlier that 7:00 AM and picked up NO LATER that 6:00 PM.

Extended Kindergarten Program

The Extended Kindergarten class will meet in Room 101 with the Childcare Class before having their class in the Rainbow Room. With one teacher, this class is limited to 6 children in the morning and 12 children in the afternoon. Children must attend Living Word Kindergarten or St. John Kindergarten in order to enroll in our Extended Kindergarten program.
