Admissions Guidelines

1. Children currently enrolled in the program and children with siblings currently in the program.
2. Children of members of Living Word Lutheran Church.
3. Living Word ECC children who have no church home.
4. Children of members of other area Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches.
5. All others applying on a first come, first serve basis.

These are guidelines used by the Administration to enroll children into the program. Enrollment in Living Word’s Early Childhood Center does not guarantee a spot in Living Word Lutheran School’s Kindergarten Program.

Living Word Lutheran School reserves the right to deny or terminate enrollment of a child whose family members lead a lifestyle that is not consistent with or is contrary to Holy Scripture and the doctrinal positions of the Lutheran church Missouri Synod.  Any behaviors determined by the Board of Education and the administration of the school to be disruptive to the school atmosphere and learning environment may result in termination of enrollment at the sole discretion of Living Word Lutheran School. A complete copy of the Living Word Lutheran Family Values Policy is available in the office to anyone requesting or needing a copy in its entirety.

Living Word Early Childhood Center admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies or admission policies.

Admission Procedure

• Contact the school office (248-651-9474) and obtain information about the programs offered by Living Word Lutheran School.
• Return the completed application form with the $100 application fee to the school office.
• The following forms will need to be turned in to the school office BEFORE your child begins school:
